Swimming pool homes are nearly as common in Florida as snow blowers are in the North and Mid-Western States. The picture perfect Florida weekend often includes chicken slow cooking on the grill and the joy and laughter of children and adults splashing about in their crystal blue pool.

The purchase of a home that includes a pool should be given careful thought by the future homeowner. Along with the enjoyment that a pool can bring, there are responsibilities involved that the homeowner will need to consider. Regular maintenance and upkeep are required in order for the pool to maintain its crystal clear appearance. Protective safety features should be in place to protect against small children wandering into the pool unsupervised.
